Big Pharma is surely outraged, especially in the last few weeks, as three major studies have shown that its most profitable drugs are not effective.
The Lancet published a huge study which confirmed that the risks of antidepressants in children and teens far outweigh the benefits, as they routinely raise suicidal behavior. Only one out of 14 antidepressants showed to improve depression better than the placebo.
Nowadays, a growing number of experts claim that even though more than 15 million Americans use them, cholesterol drugs are simply ineffective.
A group of international researchers published a study in the BMJ Open journal which discovered no relation between “bad” cholesterol and death due to a heart disease in people older than 60. Actually, they found that 92 percent of people with high cholesterol levels live longer.
The best way to support the health of your heart is to incorporate healthy lifestyle habits, and not by using medications. According to the vascular and endovascular surgery expert Professor Sherif Sultan from the University of Ireland:
“Lowering cholesterol with medications for primary cardiovascular prevention in those aged over 60 is a total waste of time and resources, whereas altering your lifestyle is the single most important way to achieve a good quality of life.”
Furthermore, regarding the findings of the study, the study co-author Dr. Malcolm Kendrick claimed “that older people with high LDL (low-density lipoprotein) levels, the so-called ‘bad’ cholesterol, lived longer and had less heart disease.”
These findings may revolutionize the medicine and can significantly affect the pharmaceutical industry. Namely, according to Health Impact News, the cholesterol drug Lipitor is the most profitable meditation ever, with over $140 billion in sales.
The study authors also suggested a re-evaluation of the guidelines for preventing heart disease and the buildup of plaque in the arteries, commenting that “the benefits from statin treatment have been exaggerated.”
Sadly, they have not just been exaggerated, but apparently, they have been completely fabricated, just like the research which has supported other drugs like vaccines and antidepressants.
The report of Natural News in 2013 stated that doctors tied to the industry additionally forced adults to use statins.
Three years ago, the physicians at the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology issued new guidelines which persuaded one-third of all adults to consider taking statins. This step has been shown to be highly lucrative for Big Pharma.
Their response after being asked about the conflict of interest was that “Ties between heart doctors and Big Pharma are so extensive that it is almost impossible to find a large group of doctors who have no industry ties.”
The Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons published the third major study in a matter of days which discredited the pharmaceutical industry. Namely, this study found that giving children multiple vaccines at once is unsafe. Yet, this is completely opposite from the claims of the government, the media, and drug companies.
According to the medical researcher Neil Z. Miller: “Although CDC recommends polio, hepatitis B, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, rotavirus, Haemophilus influenzae type B, and pneumococcal vaccines for two-, four-, and six-month-old infants, this combination of eight vaccines administered during a single physician visit was never tested for safety in clinical trials.”
He adds: “This is at odds with a CDC report which found that mixed exposures to chemical substances and other stress factors, including prescribed pharmaceuticals, may produce ‘increased or unexpected deleterious health effects.’”
Sadly, but you should not trust the government nor the pharmaceutical industry, as apparently, their policies have no credibility. The best way to restore your health, and maintain it is to lead a healthy lifestyle, eat healthy foods, exercise regularly, and manage stress.
