The economic and social consequences of illegal immigration is a growing problem. Yet, the mainstream media continues to push for open borders and have failed to report the serious crimes by illegal immigrants that happens daily. Trump, however, wants to enforce our immigration laws and ‘to clean house’ of hardened criminals who enter the US without permission.
At times, Banda e-entered the U.S. three days after being deported. He was able to get into the U.S. by “crossing the border fence and at least once in the trunk of a car.” Three of the times he was deported were after arrests on state charges like a DUI and domestic violence.
He was last deported in January of this year, and it is not known how or when he got back in. However, he was here on May 6 when he hurt Lennox Lake in a car accident. The little boy was finally released from the hospital three weeks later “with deep skull fractures and also battling infections, rash and fever.”
Border Patrol Agent Terry Shigg, president of the San Diego chapter of the National Border Patrol Council, said this is a classic example of how a lack of prosecutions and prison time actually emboldens repeat immigration offenders.
“It’s one of those things you get so used to that it becomes the norm, to know that multiple times throughout my career I’ve returned the same group of people (to Mexico) multiple times on the same day,” he said. “It’s frustrating. It’s almost as if there’s a loophole, a fault in the system and no one wants to fix it. Recidivists come through and there’s laws on the books to stop them. … After about the 10th time, a flag should go up that in about three months this guy is going to be back, because that’s what happened in the past.”
